From the above table, it is clear that Manchester City have the highest probability of winning the EFL (or Carabao Cup) in the 2022/23 season.
Why Manchester City Are Potential Worthy Winners
I believe Manchester City have the biggest chance of winning the Carabao cup this season for the following reasons:
1. Form
The EFL is competed by teams in England and the Premier League is the Zenith of football club competition in England.
Therefore, I believe a Premier League team has a better chance of winning the competition.
However, in the Premier League, Manchester City have accumulated more points than any other team in the EFL cup today.
Therefore, Manchester City somewhat have better form than other teams in the EFL cup.
2. Quality
Without any doubt, money gets you a quality team in football.
Manchester City, in my opinion, have the best team amongst the teams left in the EFL Cup.
3. Managerial Expertise
There is no doubt that Pep Guardiola is currently the best manager in England today by virtue of domestic trophies won.
For this reason, he has a better chance than other managers of leading his team to glory once again.
4. Experience
The manager is one thing but the players are another.
No team left in the EFL Cup have won more domestic trophies than Manchester City.
The Manchester City group of players have more experience in winning domestic trophies than other teams in the EFL cup at the moment.
Final Thought
In a nutshell, Manchester City are most likely going to win the EFL cup this season.
City have 85% chance of winning Southampton in the EFL Cup Quarter Finals and have a 41% chance of winning the trophy amongst the 4 potential semi-finalists.
