GW36 free hit draft: some double gameweek 36 free hit teams to consider

The season is slowly coming to an end now and if you’ve got your free hit chip, you have three gameweeks to pick from. You can use this chip either in gameweek 36, 37 or even 38 and you’d be fine.

However, if you’ve planned to use your free hit chip this gameweek, then this article is for you. In this article we’d be looking at some of our free hit teams for gameweek 36. Without any fuss let’s get right in.

Double gameweek 36 free hit drafts

Double gameweek 36 free hit drafts

Our first free hit draft would be a bit of a balance one where both the first eleven and the bench is strong. We’ve tripled up on both Manchester City and Liverpool in this one. Going for their nailed on players in Robertson, Salah, Matip, Cancelo and Laporte. Jesus is a bit of a risk, but it is a risk we’re willing to take.

We’ve gone for one Spurs and one Arsenal and that’s because we’ve gone for strikers who are in the 7.5 – 8 million bracket. And to be fair Kulusevski and Saka aren’t bad picks. The two are in great form and you’d expect them to be involved in goals in their games.

And then finally we have Richarlison and Watkins up front and we’ve done this because (1) Richarlison is nailed on and is currently Everton’s main source of goal (2) Everton also have a lot to play for this season and you’d be expecting good performances from them. Let’s not also forget that Richarlison also got a goal last time out against Chelsea-hopefully he can carry his good form into gameweek 36.

As for Watkins, he has decent fixtures, Aston Villa seem to be creating a lot of chances, he scored and played well in his last game and he is about 7.5 million so yeah he’d be our third choice striker.

Lastly, you might not want to make use of Raphinha, so Matip in and Raphinha out is an option to consider.

Double gameweek 36 free hit team: premium midfield assets

Double gameweek 36 free hit team

As the subheading says, this is a free hit team where we go heavy on premium midfield assets. In other for us to accommodate this premium assets, we have to go for cheaper alternatives in defence and in attack.

The likes of Laporte, Richarlison, Cash, Watkins, Gabby Jesus have all had been replaced by cheaper assets such as Nketiah, Dennis, Chambers, Gelhardt and Tomiyasu.

This free hit draft looks good because in this one we have targeted players who are involved in both top four race and the title race. You also have your premium big hitters in here as well. The likes of Kevin De Brunye, Mo Salah and Heung-Min Son can all have double digit-hauls this gameweek and that’s what we’re looking to capitalize on.

If I had to pick between these two free hit teams, I’d go with this one and that’s because in this free hit draft, you’re almost guaranteed to get points from at least seven players while in the first one, you’re not really sure where most of your points would come from.

With every free hit, there are two ways to go about it you either go for a balanced team or you go all out and get those premium assets into your team. Whichever you make pick we hope we’ve been able to help you.
