Differentials are very important and are a crucial part of any FPL team and if you want to move up the ranks, then they are even more important.
In this blog post, we’d look at five gameweek 34 differentials that you can add to your team if you’re on a wildcard, free-hit or you’re making use of your free transfers.
Five gameweek 34 differential picks for your wildcard, free hit or free transfer
In this selection we’d be looking at players who have good fixtures, an ownership of less than 20% and have been in good form. We’d be selecting players from across different teams.
Gameweek 34 differential picks : Mason Mount

Mason Mount is a good differential player to add to your wildcard draft, free hit team or a player you can bring into your team if you have a free transfer.
Mason Mount at the time of writing has an ownership of 15.2% and that ownership could rise even further considering the fact that he has a double gameweek.
The increase in ownership shouldn’t scare you because Mason Mount is one the players to have in gameweek 34. Mount’s goal involvement this season has been impressive – he has 19 goal involvement, scoring 10 goals and assisting 9 in the Premier League.
Mason Mount valued at just 7.6 million is not just a good differential, but a great asset to keep in your team in the long-run.
Gameweek 34 differential picks : Raphinha

Raphinha is yet another good differential to consider if you’re on a wildcard draft, free hit team or if you have a free transfer, you could bring him into your team.
Raphinha has been in really good form and his impressive form has him third on the FPL form table. In fact, in Raphinha’s last three starts he has produced a total of 20 points, scoring one goal and assisting two.
The Brazillian has been in top form this season and he has hit double figures for goals already. However, Raphinha’s fixtures are a bit of a red flag.
Leeds have six games to go including a double gameweek in gameweek 36 which isn’t bad. But the downside is that from gameweek 35 to DGW36 they face Man City, Arsenal and Chelsea.
Asides his fixtures, Raphinha is a really good asset to have as he carries a lot of attacking threat and it won’t be a surprise if he got either a goal or an assist against one of the teams mentioned earlier.
Gameweek 34 differential picks: Teemu Pukki
Another FPL asset we’ve been sleeping on is Teemu Pukki. Teemu Pukki is valued at 5.9 million, is selected by 7.2% of FPL managers and has blanked just once in his last six games, scoring four goals and assisting one.
Just like everyone on the list Teemu Pukki has hit double figures for goals this season and another good thing is that Pukki has a double gameweek gameweek 36.
Norwich’s fixtures aren’t all that bad as well – two of their next six games have an FDR of two while the remaining four have and FDR of 3.
Is Pukki a good long-term pick? No. But for gameweek 34 and 35 he is one you can consider as he plays against Newcastle and Aston Villa.
Gameweek 34 differential picks : Diogo Jota

A couple of gameweeks ago, Diogo Jota wasn’t a differential as he was owned by more than 30% of FPL managers. Right now he is a differential and is one you can consider if you’re on wildcard or a free hit.
The Liverpool man is currently having his best ever season and has scored 15 goals already this season. His injury a couple of gameweeks ago meant that FPL managers jump off the Jota train.
Looking at his recent performances since his return from injury I think it’s time to get back on the Jota train, and if you’re on a wildcard or free hit, a triple up on Salah, Trent/Robertson and Diogo Jota would not be a bad idea either.
Gameweek 34 differential picks : Kevin De Brunye

Kevin De Brunye is yet another good differential pick for gameweek 34 and for the rest of the season and he’s one that could make a difference if you’re looking to rise in overall or in your mini-league.
Man City’s top-scorer, a nailed on starter that is owned by just 7.7% of managers is as good as it gets in terms of differentials. Kevin De Brunye is not just any differential, he’s a premium one.
The Man City player is one who can compete with the likes of Salah, Son and Harry Kane and could also be a good differential captain pick from now until the season ends.
Man City have really good fixtures from now until the end of the season including a double gameweek either in gameweek 36 or 37 and if Kevin De Brunye remains fit, he’d most likely feature in all the games.
If you’re on a wildcard or free hit then he’s one you should consider but if you have just a free transfer then it’s not worth the risk.
Picking the best gameweek 34 differentials
If we had to pick three out of the five differentials mentioned it would be Mason Mount, Diogo Jota and Kevin De Brunye they are the stand-out differentials. If you are on a limited budget, then Raphinha over De Brunye.
Some other honorable mentions are Kai Havertz, Ivan Toney and Jack Harrison of Leeds. They are also good differentials that you might want to consider.
One thing to note if you’re on wildcard is that Chelsea do not have a double gameweek in gameweek 36 that’s something to keep in mind when choosing their assets.
