Twitter is a place where information is shared and banter is served. A Platform known for its toxicity that many users decide to stay off it, others enjoy it, and many just can’t be bothered.
In all of Twitter’s madness, there’s a small community known as FPL Twitter where users come together to share tips and ideas to help one another move up in rank in FPL.
In this blog post, we’d be looking at some FPL Twitter tips provided by FPL managers and what teams FPL managers should target in double gameweek 28.
What teams have a double gameweek in gameweek 28?
- Southampton vs Aston Villa & Newcastle
- Newcastle vs Southampton & Brighton
- Wolves vs Crystal Palace & Watford
- Watford vs Arsenal & Wolves
- Leeds vs Leicester & Aston Villa
- Aston Villa vs Southampton & Leeds
These six teams have a double gameweek in GW28. Chelsea and Norwich could potentially double in 28 as well if Chelsea beat Luton or Norwich beat Liverpool in the FA Cup this week, it will mean both sides will get a double gameweek in 28.
Chelsea vs Burnley & Norwich
Norwich vs Brentford & Chelsea
With gameweek 28 around the corner, we’d be looking at some FPL Twitter tips provided by FPL managers on Fantasy premier league Twitter.
Here are some FPL Twitter tips

FPL Frasier gives us some tips on what teams we should focus on when making transfers ahead of gameweek 28. He has mentioned Leeds as one of the teams to focus on because of their new coach.
We all know the effect new coaches have on their teams- which means Leeds assets possibly (Raphina) could be a good shout for gameweek 28.
He has also suggested Coutinho as a captain in double gameweek 28. That makes sense because Aston Villa has a double gameweek and, they face Southampton and Leeds.

With the form Couthinho is in he could be a good captain pick.
@FPLfrasier also suggests that FPL managers should focus or consider Newcastle assets in gameweek 28. Newcastle has been in good form lately winning four of their last five games and keeping three clean sheets in that process.
Chelsea assets are also ones FPL managers should keep an eye on in gameweek 28. They are one of the teams who could have a double gameweek in gameweek 28. And their fixtures starting from GW28 are pretty easy. This could be a great time to bring in Chelsea defenders.
Personally I think it’s too early for Reece James. If Chelsea beat Luton and get the DGW, I can’t see him starting both against Burnley and Norwich. He’s been out quite a while so could be eased in. Just my own view. I’d love to bring him in but I think Rudiger is the play.

Moving on from that, a few FPL Twitter accounts shared their Free hit teams and Bench boost teams. This would be helpful for FPL managers looking to bench boost in gameweek 28.

Latest GW28 free hit tinker… Still no clue on captaincy, and the first XI is so cheap. Arguably too cheap. Will definitely be completely different by deadline!

@ShivaFPL shares his Bench Boost team. And this is what he had to say after.
11 and 7 DGW players respectively. I like it. A hit in each GW #FPL

Here’s what he had to say
From free hit to bench boost to captain picks FPL twitter has been offering tips and insight to FPL managers ahead of gameweek 28. Another thing to note is that these teams could still be changed by the various FPL managers quoted in this post.
While Twitter might be toxic, the FPL community is one where everyone is willing to offer tips and ideas to help guide other managers in each gameweek.
