GW34 Most Transferred in players

There are a lot of really good players to buy this gameweek and FPL managers are already transferring in these players. Here are some of the best players to buy in GW34:

GW34 Most Transferred in players

From the list of popular transfers in this gameweek, we can see that FPL managers are targeting Man City, Man United, Brighton, and Liverpool assets. This is a good strategy, as these players have great fixtures in GW34 and have double gameweeks coming up.

1. FPL Goalkeepers to Consider for GW34 and Beyond

Steele of Brighton

There’s no doubt that clean sheets have been hard to come by in recent weeks and that could be because of the part of the season we’re in. At this stage of the season, a lot of teams are trying to win games and so games are a lot more open, which means that goals are more and clean sheets are less.

Because of this, we think it’s better to spend less on goalkeepers and use the funds in other areas of your team. And if you’re looking for a budget goalkeeper, the best out there is Steele of Brighton. He’s been in good form recently, he has the added benefit of Brighton having three double gameweeks coming up. All these make him a smart choice for FPL managers who are looking for a goalkeeper for the long term.

Our Advice: Consider Budget Goalkeepers for Your FPL Team

If you’re on a wildcard or you’re just looking to get a goalkeeper then going for Steele is a pretty good strategy. You could consider pairing him up with Ederson of City if you’re looking to get into City’s defense. Steele is only 3.9m that’s perfect for keeper who is starting games for a team like Brighton.

2. Analyzing the Best Defensive Picks for FPL GW34 and Beyond

As we said earlier clean sheets are scarce, so it is better to target defenders that carry attacking threats and can get goals and assists. This means that we should target full-backs from teams that play attacking football as these ones are the players likely to get us assists points or points from scoring goals.

Here are some of the best defenders in FPL right now:

  • Alexander Arnold – Arnold has got himself five assists in his four premier league games – picking up 24 points in that period.
  • Andrew Robertson – Robertson in his last two games, has got two assists and returned 10 points.
  • John Stones – Stones has scored two goals in his last two games for Man City in the Premier League. With a couple of double gameweeks coming up, he could be a really solid long-term pick.
  • Alex Moreno & Mings – Aston Villa have kept five clean sheets in their last seven games – they’re the only side that seems to keeping clean sheets and because of that it makes a lot of sense to target their defenders. Alex Moreno and Mings are solid picks.

3. Midfielders to Consider for GW34 and Beyond

Well, with the updated fixture list, it is quite obvious what the template midfield in FPL would look like from now until the season ends. With double gameweeks, coming up for the likes of Man City, Man United, Liverpool and Brighton it’d make a lot of sense to target midfielders from these sides.

Here are some of the best midfielder picks for GW33 and beyond:

  • Mitoma
  • Solly March
  • Marcus Rashford
  • Mo Salah
  • Jack Grealish
  • Bruno Fernandes
  • Kevin De Brunye

These seven players are great now and would be great long-term picks as well. They have good fixtures, are on form and are the ones with the most games left to play. Going for them would mean you’d have to let go of some of your Arsenal assets – we’d leave you to make that decision yourself.

If we had to pick five out of the seven midfielders that we’ve got on our list, then we’d be left with a midfield five of Mitoma, March, Rashford, De Brunye, and Fernandes. Mo Salah would miss out and that’s because of the way Man City and Man United are playing.

De Brunye and Fernandes seem to have more advanced roles in their respective teams. It means that these players are closer to the goal and find themselves in the box a lot more. This increases their chance of getting some form of attacking return. Salah on the other hand, isn’t as close enough to the box as we’d like. Liverpool’s new system means Salah stays much wider and further away from the goal.

4. FPL GW34 tips and transfer strategy: the best forwards to buy gameweek 34

Picking forwards is difficult as there are several players in good form. We have Jota, Haaland, Watkins, Kane, Isak, Wilson, and Toney – all great picks. To narrow it down, here are our top three forward picks for this gameweek and beyond.

Haaland is an essential pick – he picks himself. His numbers are impressive, making it impossible to go against the Man City forward.

Kane is another great pick, the only issue is his price and the fact that he doesn’t have any double gameweek. Even at that Kane is so lethal that he could outscore and outperform the players with double gameweeks. If you own him then you should hold him. He could grab a couple against Liverpool this gameweek.

As for the third striker, we’d go with Isak. Well, we know that Isak could be rotated because of Wilson but we’d go with him regardless. He’s in great form and playing for a team that plays expansive attacking football. Newcastle is one of the few sides that score multiple goals in games. We’d expecting Isak to start this weekend and hopefully, he delivers points.
