Before, we get into it, let’s take a look at some of the most popular transfers FPL managers are making this week:

10 most popular transfers in GW21

We can see that FPL managers are making moves and they’re making moves early on, we can also see that they’re trying to get in some of the most in-form players as well as players with pretty good fixtures.

The question now is, who are the best FPL assets to transfer into your team in GW21? Well, we’re about to find out.

GW21 transfer tips: the best goal keeper to buy gameweek 21

the best goal keeper to buy gameweek 21

To help us identify the best goalie to go with we have this really helpful image, that shows fixture difficulty, potential double and blank gameweeks and xGC(expected goals conceded).

And from the image, Ramsdale is the best FPL goalkeeper to have from now up until GW26 and if we’re being honest, we won’t want to waste one of our Arsenal slots on a 5.0million goalie.

The best transfer strategy and tip, would be to go with Kepa and Ederson of Man City. Man City have a double in GW23 and don’t have any blanks coming up.

Ederson is nailed on and he is guaranteed to start games for City. His fixtures also compliment Kepa’s as well. So, if you’re on a wildcard and looking to get in a couple of goalkeepers then Ederson and Kepa are pretty good shouts.

GW21 transfer tips: the best defenders to buy gameweek 21

In terms of defenders, there are a couple of defenders that should be on your radar, the likes of:

  • Lewis Dunk
  • Ben Mee
  • Luke Shaw and
  • Schar

are all pretty good defenders to transfer into your team in GW21. We all know what the template team looks like nowadays, we have the likes of Shaw, Trippier, White and maybe a City defender in almost everyone’s team.

But the truth however is that, fixtures are changing and so there are more defensive options out there. Here’s a pretty good fixture ticker that can help you identify teams with good fixtures.

Looking at the upcoming fixtures, we can see that Newcastle and Man United fixtures are getting a lot of tougher, which means that clean sheets might be hard to come by. So if you’re on a Newcastle double up, you might want to consider some other options.

GW21 transfer tips: the best midfielders to buy gameweek 21

In terms of midfielders to buy, there are a lot of pretty solid options. We have the likes of:

  • March
  • Rashford
  • Odegaard
  • Mitoma
  • Bowen
  • Ward-Prowse

These midfielders are going to be great additions to any squad. They are on form and they have nice fixtures coming up. If you had to bring just one into your team in GW21, then we’d go for Bowen. We think he’s going to be worth the punt this gameweek.

If you want to play it safe, then March or Odegaard are obviously the best option out there. March looks to be in really good form and he’s also enjoying his new role in those advanced areas for Brighton.

Odegaard is another really good pick as he has now added goals and assists to his game now. We see a lot of FPL managers switching between Martinelli for Odegaard, giving their current form, it’s not so much of a bad idea,

Mitoma looks like another good low-budget midfield alternative. If you want to move Almiron on, then Mitoma is a good replacement as well.

But before you go all in on Brighton assets, it would be nice to keep it in mind that they could blank in GW25 – you don’t want to go all in on FPL assets, that’d blank very soon.

Man United, Brighton, Brentford and Newcastle are amongst the teams that are very likely to have a blank gameweek in GW25.

GW21 transfer tips: the best forwards to buy gameweek 21

We ain’t gonna lie, there really isn’t any standout forward pick other than Ivan Toney. He’s the forward with the best set of fixtures and he’s also on form.

If you have Mitrovic, we think you could still hold onto him. He’s not a bad pick and this gameweek he could score against Spurs -we all know Spurs aren’t all that great.

Kane is another one that could be a decent option as well if you have the budget to fund his transfer into your GW21 team. There you have it our top transfers this gameweek.

Another one that’d be a nice differential to consider is Gnonto(£5m) of Leeds. Leeds have pretty good fixtures coming up and so we think it’d make sense to target some of their FPL assets.

In the game were that aren’t that many forward options, going for a player like Gnonto isn’t a bad idea. He’s cheap and you can use the extra funds to improve other areas of your team.

Erling Haaland’s dip in form, means that we might have to look elsewhere in terms of captains this gameweek, find out the players that would make great captains in GW21 right here:
